Women’s Voices is a programme series around inspiring women: musicians and creators with unique artistic visions and a strong social commitment. Over the coming months, the programme will tour the Netherlands, offering workshops, lectures and concerts in The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam. The spotlight will be on the versatile Ukrainian singer Maryana Golovchenko.

Maryana Golovchenko
Born in Kyiv and now living in The Hague, Maryana’s music connects East and West. Her voice blends centuries-old Ukrainian sounds with contemporary styles and global musical traditions. Her performances exude curiosity, craftsmanship and cultural connection, and with her warm voice and natural charisma, she has the ability to touch every audience.
Empowering singing workshops
On International Women’s Day, Maryana will introduce you to Ukrainian women’s singing and take you on a musical journey through Ukrainian culture. The focus will be on songs welcoming the arrival of spring, bringing positive energy, strength, and a sense of connection.
