Women’s Voices is a program series, focusing on groundbreaking female performing artists from diverse cultural backgrounds whose work demonstrate a strong artistic independence and social commitment. Women’s Voices presents powerful role models who follow their own artistic path and realise their mission with courage and perseverance.
The series includes concerts, workshops, powertalks and meetings and started out in the Rotterdam’s Year of Women 2025. Through Women’s Voices, we aim to empower women in the music business and culture sector, providing a platform to share their vision, inspiring stories and artistic expressions.
Women’s Voices is a Culture Connection initiative, realised in collaboration with Codarts Global Musics, Podium Grounds, het Rotterdamse Jaar van de Vrouw, Mano, VATAHA, Women’s groups in Delfshaven and the Oude Westen, theater De Vaillant, UPLR, Krachtstation Kanaleneiland, Rotterdams Volkstheater and others.
