Sing & Discover Ukrainian Women’s Singing

Curious to discover and experience centuries-old Ukrainian music? Join us on Saturday, 19 September, for a special singing workshop led by Maryana Golovchenko, and immerse yourself in the rich tradition of Ukrainian women’s singing.

Together, we’ll learn beautiful traditional songs about hope, courage and resilience — and discover how powerful it can be to sing as a group. No previous experience is needed. Just bring your voice, your curiosity and an open heart.

Originally from Kyiv, Maryana Golovchenko has been living in the Netherlands since 2012. Her music brings Ukrainian vocal traditions together with contemporary sounds and influences from cultures around the world. With her warm voice and engaging presence, she creates a space where people can connect, listen and sing together.
